The homestead remains an ideal venue for corporate retreats, executive meetings and sophisticated networking with key stakeholders. Hawkes Bay is a short plane trip from Auckland, Wellington or Taupo and we are happy to arrange transportation from Napier airport to the Wallingford doorstep, ensuring your travel is as smooth and efficient as possible.
The largest meeting space can hold up to 40 people, seated. Our formal dining area provides an elegant boardroom environment and our drawing room and sitting room (the Wallingford hall) areas provide practical yet comfortable spaces for smaller focus groups.
Facilities are modern with WiFi broadband internet, whiteboards and an office with scanning and colour laser printing equipment.
We also offer the perfect activities to complement round-table strategy sessions. From team-building exercises to yoga, croquet, an elevated golf driving range, archery, and clay-bird shooting – we can help you to relax or indulge your competitive edge.
Core creates leaders who understand themselves first, in order to brilliantly lead others. We go straight to the heart of it, focusing on self-awareness to shape exceptional leaders who harness the power of those around them. Where others might focus on tools for work, we ingrain skills for life – creating the seismic shifts in personal understanding and team empowerment that ignite meaningful change.
Several times per year, Wallingford hosts The Leadership Development Intensive (LDI): a four day full immersion experience that will revolutionise your ability to lead yourself, your team, and your organisation.
Thanks very much for hosting us for the Midlands Mortgage Trust AGM and dinner over the weekend. As usual your hospitality and the warmth of welcome from you, Sue and Charlotte was excellent. You all made us feel like old friends visiting your home.
The food was great as usual and I am not sure how Charlotte produces so many cooked breakfasts in such a short time but mine was beautiful.
A special thanks for lighting the pool house fire and making it possible for us to watch the rugby test over there. And keeping the liquid refreshments up! The scones with jam and cream arriving at half time was a very nice touch.
Our guests came from as far afield as Hawera, Dunedin and Te Awamutu. They were effusive in their praise of your hospitality and the venue and all want to return when it is CHB’s turn to host again in 3 years time. We will be back!
